“BREATHE” CAST AND CREW
Kirk Johnson (Playwright/Director) began his career as a disc jockey. At WAGN AM 1340, Kirk was granted the freedom to use the facilities to create projects during his free time. His first successfully produced radio play is titled Space Frontier, and it is about a zany starship captain and crew that boldly go where no science fiction program should ever go.
Jordi Armisén (Host), native of Barcelona, performs voices for radio dramas, short films, commercials, and documentaries; moreover, he directs and produces radio broadcasts. Jordi recently won an international voice contest presented by the Cottage Museum in New York.
Brian Atwood (John) is a full time voice over talent and coach specializing in commercials, narration, character voices and jingles. He is the owner of Brian S.Atwood Voice Overs, which provides spoken audio for radio, television, internet, and other audio/video projects for studios, production houses and agencies around the world.
Marissa Meizel (Betty) has been working as a voice actor since age eight. She recently wrapped work on the short drama/thriller film Capsized. Marissa’s training includes acting for the stage and screen, singing, and improvisation. Voice acting has always been her passion.
Lani Minella (Nurse) Lani’s unique 4 octave range, and ability to mimic anything she hears, has given her mastery of instant voice control. Lani Minella’s 365+ voices can be heard on over 500 titles of computer games, cartoons, national and international radio and TV commercials, industrials, phone systems, talking books, websites, car navigational systems, toys, and much more.
Mike Cabot (Doctor) For more than 25 years, comic, impressionist and voice actor Mike has been using his innate ability to imitate Hollywood celebrities, singers, and politicians to both entertain live audiences and satisfy his voice over clients. His vocal range allows him to perform more than 100 impressions from classics like Johnny Carson, George Burns, John Wayne, and Ronald Reagan to many of today’s celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, George W. Bush, and Sylvester Stallone. Mike enjoys both the challenges and rewards of his craft whether he’s onstage making a live audience laugh or in a recording studio making a script come to life.
Seika Groves (Anne) resides in Hamilton, Ontario. An actor from a young age, she has worked in film, television, theatre, radio, and as a voice over artist for more than 30 years. Seika is the founding director of the Toronto Repertory Theater, Not Just Improv Comedy Troupe & Pop Up Shakespeare Theater Company. She is also a well respected voice over coach and trains actors in various capacities. Seika holds a degree in Costume Design/Construction and a B.Sc. in Archaeology. In her leisure time, she enjoys dabbling in quantum psychics and experimental cuisine.
Steve Rimpici (Erik & Frank) is best known for his Voice Arts Award nominated performance for Outstanding Audio book (Braineater Jones). Steve is also known as the voice of Dr. Wolfgang Wagner in the cult hit film The Puppet Monster Massacre. Steve has voiced over 100 different characters for Strobie Studios’ productions of The Watson Files, The Ark of Time and The Horror of Poe.
Greg Walston (Lieutenant Phil Morrison) is an accomplished stage actor, improv comedian, singer, guitarist, and voice actor. He records and edits audio projects from his Texas home based studio. Greg enjoys geocaching, bicycling, hiking, and cooking with fresh ingredients from his garden. Whatever you do, don’t get him started on Golden Retrievers; he’ll talk for hours!
Pontus (Head Composer) Pontus Tidemand is Swedish film and TV composer and punk rock musician/songwriter living with his family in Stockholm. He scored the main theme for The Intergalactic Space Rangers series and is also the music director for the TV series and the Doorways and Dimensions audioseries. Pontus Tidemand’s music has been featured in the swedish documentary Kiruna Spaceroad that was aired on Swedish national Tv SVT, in the Zombie film Virus of The Dead and in various shorts. Pontus enjoys researching different musical sounds and the possibilities of fusing different genres and moods in an allmost anarchistic way.
Rick Lundeen “Thrill-seeker”, “daredevil”, “adventurer” and “astronaut” are all titles that have nothing to do with Rick Lundeen. Mostly, he draws. Born in the Chicago area, for over 20 years, Rick has drawn storyboards for advertising agencies around the world, with clients including McDonalds, Capital One, Kelloggs, and Disney, to name just a few. Rick was also the primary illustrator for Coca Cola while working for IMPACT, the promotional arm of Foote, Cone and Belding. Rick has also worked as a creative consultant and created and produced numerous comic books over the last two decades.
Tobias (composer) Tobias Alexander Ratka lives in Austria, near Vienna. He was born in December of 2000 in a town near Vienna. He is still going to school, so he has no education yet (except Elementary School, but that doesn’t count). He started making music with the age of 7, and now also started scoring smaller projects. In his free-time, he is playing American Football and he is going to school and of course, he is making music (just for fun)
Janal Bechthold (composer)
Janal Bechthold was 9 years old when she discovered her love of composition. She has composed music for everything from string quintet, piano solo, alternative rock music, choir, marching band, to toilets and garbage cans! Janal’s compositional style is diverse and innovative as she tends to combine musical elements and styles in a natural manner.
Ahsan Rajib Ananda (Composer), native of Dhaka, Bangladesh, plays and teaches the classical guitar. He also edits “Cinephile” magazine that is published at the university where he is enrolled.
Misja van Waterschoot (Sound Engineer), Hilversum, Netherlands, studied audio engineering & production at Sound Seminar Rotterdam. He has over 15 years professional sound design and audio engineering experience: radio plays, documentaries, and concerts.
Bob Greenwade (Script Editor) Bob is a writer of many media: novels (the Realm Hunter series), plays (It Was a Dark and Stormy Night, contributions to Gone Fishing with Whopper John), role playing game supplements (The Ultimate Vehicle, contributions to the City Book series, articles in the Digital Hero ezine), and more. Bob has been involved in community theater for many years. He currently resides in Corvallis, Oregon.
